Great place for a college reunion weekend with families/kids. Everything was very clean and in great shape overall. The kids had a blast in the pool and the in ground hot tub is awesome.
A few of us found that our swim suits were bleached out from whatever is keeping the tub clean, so don’t bring your favorite swim suit. Really nice to have a washer and dryer available. Kitchen is beautiful with a huge island.
Media room with stadium seating and giant beanbags is a unique feature. We are planning to return next year!.
My friends and I travel to Hocking Hills every year. The first couple or years we stayed at this house and loved it. Throughout the years we have stayed at other places, but this place is our favorite.
There are plenty of rooms for large groups. The theater room is elite and the kids always enjoy the pool and hot tub. When it’s nice enough to get outside, the hiking is great as you don’t have to drive to go anywhere.

We love Angel's Envy! This is our 8th year coming to hocking hills for our annual OU reunion with our kids and have stayed in several different homes. Angel's Envy is by far our favorite and we have decided to stop trying others. We love the hocking trails around the property including the shakey bridge and the climb to the open field with the giant chair! The theatre room and in-ground hot tub are the group favorites as well.
The layout is perfect to all be together while still feeling spacious. We will definitely be back next year and want to find a summertime to visit as well. Only additions I would make if I am really being picky, would be to add more reusable plastic ware (mostly for the kids) and more cookie/baking sheets.
We only saw 2 baking sheets and it's tough to cook in batches with a large group. Can't wait to go back!.
We had a girls trip and it was such a great place. We used the pool and hot tub. We used the theater room.
All were amazing amenities. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. I cooked for our group and the kitchen had everything I needed and more.
There was so much room to spread out that we never felt cramped; but also it was extremely homey. Sitting by the fire in rocking chairs watching the snow fall was wonderful. I will be booking another stay.

What a wonderful cabin experience. Having been to Hocking Hills many times, this was arguably the best our group could have dreamed up. From top to bottom, Angel’s Envy at Bourbon Ridge Retreat was absolutely perfect.
The hosts were superbly communicative, helping make sure things were just right before, during, and after our time there. The layout of the cabin itself is thoughtfully built, perfect for big groups, especially with families. You can tell that the owners made it a point to ensure the place is flexible enough to accommodate a group of adults for a specially getaway or multiple families needing plenty of space and lots to do.
The amenities were nice throughout, from then linens, towels, poker table, pool table, kitchen, movie theater, hot tub, indoor and outdoor furniture, grill, black stone cooktop, and pool! Beautifully designed with a luxury retreat in mind. There was even a Christmas tree. Our group loved every bit of our trip together—it was the perfect place to celebrate one of the kids’ birthdays and ring in the new year.
