What a wonderful cabin experience. Having been to Hocking Hills many times, this was arguably the best our group could have dreamed up. From top to bottom, Angel’s Envy at Bourbon Ridge Retreat was absolutely perfect.
The hosts were superbly communicative, helping make sure things were just right before, during, and after our time there. The layout of the cabin itself is thoughtfully built, perfect for big groups, especially with families. You can tell that the owners made it a point to ensure the place is flexible enough to accommodate a group of adults for a specially getaway or multiple families needing plenty of space and lots to do.
The amenities were nice throughout, from then linens, towels, poker table, pool table, kitchen, movie theater, hot tub, indoor and outdoor furniture, grill, black stone cooktop, and pool! Beautifully designed with a luxury retreat in mind. There was even a Christmas tree. Our group loved every bit of our trip together—it was the perfect place to celebrate one of the kids’ birthdays and ring in the new year.

We had an amazing experience at the Forester! It was perfect for celebrating New Year’s Eve and the beginning of 2026. The place was cozy, charming, and clean, and it had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the sauna and the hot tub.

The location is quite unique. They appear to have multiple cabin on the same plot of land with a map and walking trails throughout. The lodge we stayed at was perfect.
Honestly the hot tub could fit our entire group (16 adults) and that feature alone was just so nice. We have stayed at many locations over the last few years in Hocking Hill, and this place is something special.
Our staff team of 12 stayed at the Angels Envy Bourbon Retreat Cabin, and it was absolutely perfect for our group! The cabin is spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly well-equipped for large groups. The open-concept kitchen was a huge highlight — plenty of space for cooking and gathering together. We also loved that the bedrooms were on a different level from the main entertaining and gathering spaces — it gave everyone the ability to rest while others stayed up playing games or hanging out.
The pool and hot tub were both fantastic and provided the perfect spot to relax after our sessions. There were plenty of areas for everyone to spread out, but also great spaces for us to come together as a team. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a refreshing and productive retreat.
Highly recommend this cabin for any group looking for a mix of comfort, fun, and togetherness — it exceeded our expectations!.
Great experience staying at Woodford Cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed to make home cooked meals. Theater room was cozy and comfortable.
Living room was a perfect place to watch the sunrise. The shower was amazing. And the outdoor area was perfect for afternoon or evening fires while having pool/hot tub time to unwind after hiking the trails around the property.
